More Than Just Table Linens

Client: Same Time Tomorrow, Australia
Service: Social Media, Content Library, Photos and Reels

Working with Same Time Tomorrow never really felt like working with a “brand” in the usual sense.

It felt more like stepping into a family gathering that just happened to make really beautiful table linens.

They’re three sisters running the brand together, and from the very beginning, we all knew one thing:

Overly polished, studio-style content just wasn’t them.

Sure, we could have created something beautiful and perfectly styled. But would it have felt like them?

Probably not.

And honestly, people can tell when something feels manufactured.

So instead of trying to create these perfect, picture-book scenes, we decided to lean into real life.

Real conversations.

Real family moments.

Real messiness.

The kind of moments you’d normally see right before or after the “actual” photo.

We just let things happen

Most of the time, I was simply following them around while they did their thing.

Setting the table.

Adjusting little details.

Talking nonsense with each other.

Laughing halfway through a sentence.

Getting distracted.

Nothing particularly dramatic.

But those were often the moments I found myself wanting to capture.

Because the best moments almost never came from direction.

They happened in between.

And that's something I've come to realise when working with founder-led or family-run brands.

People don't just want to see the product.

They want to see the people behind it.

They want to understand who they're buying from, what they care about and what life looks like around the product.

Not everything has to scream “marketing.”

Sometimes, it just needs to feel familiar.

Let the product exist naturally

The table linens were obviously an important part of the story.

But we didn't want to constantly push them into the spotlight.

Instead, they were simply there.

Part of a family dinner.

A table prepared for friends.

A small celebration.

An everyday meal at home.

The products made sense because they were being used exactly how they were meant to be used.

Naturally.

And I think that's what made the content feel less like an advertisement and more like a glimpse into someone's life.

And then something interesting happened

Over time, you could see that approach starting to show up in their customers too.

People began sharing their own table setups.

Family meals.

Cooking moments.

Little celebrations at home.

Their customers weren't just showing off the table linens.

They were showing how they used them.

And that's when I think a brand starts becoming something more than just a product.

People weren't simply buying table linens.

They were buying into a feeling.

A lifestyle.

A slower, warmer way of gathering around the table.

And maybe that's one of the most powerful things content can do for a brand.

Don't just show people what you're selling.

Show them what life could feel like with it.

And honestly, that’s probably my favourite kind of content to create.

Not content that feels like an ad.

Content that feels like people.
